Upcoming Events With Range Closures

Fall Volunteer Clean-up Day - October 11th, full range closed.


CCW Class - October 19th, pistol range closed.


Fall Sight-In Days - See dates below. 


Annual Turkey Shoot - November 1st, full range closed.


NRL22 Shoots – 1st Saturday of each month, full range closed. (May - October 2025)


Bowling Pin League Shoots – 1st Saturday of each month, pistol range closed (May - October 2025).

Hunting Season Range Closures

Closures for Fall Hunting Seasons and Annual Sight-in days:

The range is closed DURING each of the four big game seasons in the fall:

  • 1st Rifle Oct 15th - 19th (2025)
  • 2nd Rifle Oct 25th - Nov 2  (2025)
  • 3rd Rifle Nov 8th - 16th (2025)
  • 4th Rifle Nov 19th - 23rd (2025)


The two days prior to each for Hunter Sight-in events:

  • 1st Rifle Oct 13th and 14th (2025)
  • 2nd Rifle Oct 23rd and 24th (2025)
  • 3rd Rifle Nov 6th and 7th (2025)


One day prior to 4th season:

  • 4th Rifle Nov 18th  (2025)


Outside of those dates, the range is open for use by current members unless there is some other approved scheduled closure.  For more information contact a club officer via email (msportsmanc@gmail.com).


Updates are also provided at monthly club meetings  held the at 7:00 p.m., the 1st Thursday of each month, at Kilowatt Korner 233 6th Street, Meeker.
